Solitude and Interaction...
We want you to have a retreat that is tailored to meet your needs. Some women come to the cabin because they need a place to get away by themselves and be quiet and some come because they want some solitude along with someone to talk and pray with. I’ll be here to serve and help you get the rest that you need.
I want to offer you three types of retreats –
1. 24 hours of total solitude
2. Solitude for the majority of your visit, but one that would include some conversation and prayer; possibly have our evening meal together.
3. A 24- hour retreat that would include some Spiritual Direction. (We have a trained woman who is gifted as a spiritual director. (She charges $35 per hour.) I can arrange for her to visit sometime during your 24 hour stay.
You are welcome to take a walk along the edge of the pond near the cabin or grounds of the property. Depending on the weather the porch or a gazebo is a wonderful place to read and relax.
Accommodations:
You'll have a private room on the 2nd floor with a twin bed, a desk and a comfortable chair. You also can relax, read and pray in the living room or the second floor loft if that is more comfortable for you. I will be gone for the majority of your retreat so this truly will be a time for you and your Father to commune with one another. (Of course, bedding and bathroom linen is provided.)
** Just as a plus, I have a sweet little dog, Gracie, who is hypoallergenic & very low key. She'll make you feel welcome!
There will be food to satisfy your pallet. All meals are included. (Please make sure to let me know if you have any food preferences or allergies.)
Donation: The suggested donation for a one-night 24-hour stay is $40- $60.
